Computer systems analyst among year’s hottest jobs

While a number of IT jobs are expected to be among the fastest growing positions over the next 12 months, a new report indicates that computer systems analysts who can satisfy the requests of their employers may be the most in demand of them all.

For example, U.S. News and World Report, a news source known for keeping up with technology trends, recently revealed that this position was third in its list of six careers to watch in 2012.

Research indicates that from 2008 to 2018, as many as 108,000 jobs are expected to be created in the field, and due to the expansion of the number of IT professionals serving under this job title, the career may be one that best suits those looking for long-term job security. In addition to finding their dream job with a new employer this year, the news source also indicates that those who advance their career in this IT specialization could one day gain the tools they need to become self employed as consultants.

But, the media outlet indicates that those who do not have their master's degree in a related field may have difficulty gaining employment in these positions. Complicating matters is the fact that, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, some computer systems analysts may need to work as much as 50 hours a week. For these busy professionals, it may be challenging to find the time to increase their education through online courses from a traditional college.

However, these individuals may benefit by pursuing their education with an online training provider that can give them the change to demonstrate their skills in networking, computer repair and entail building.
