The Managing Enterprise Security with Cisco Security Manager (SSECMGT) class is a 5 day class that is presented by Cisco training partners to their end customers. This class provides network security engineers with the knowledge and skills that are needed to configure and deploy Cisco Security Manager. The class also provides an overview of network security technologies, and includes case studies that are useful for deployment scenarios. Training on this core management system is a vital part of any Security Operations Center and any type of organization where device policies must be consistent.

Prerequisites
To fully benefit from this course, it is recommended that you have the following prerequisite skills and knowledge
• CCNP Security certification
• CCNP-level understanding of networking and routing
• Understanding of different VPN technologies (such as DMVPN, GET VPN, and SSL VPN)
• At least six months of practical experience configuring Cisco Security products
• Familiarity with implementing network security policies and with the following networking components and concepts:
