Deploying Advanced Cisco Wireless LANs (WDAWL)

Deploying Advanced Cisco Wireless LANs (WDAWL) is a 2 day instructor led training class that is presented by Cisco training partners to their end customers. Channel Partners in North America and the UK hire proven AMS Subject Matter Expert Cisco Certified Systems Instructors (CCSI’s) to teach on-site or on-line classes.

This class builds upon the basic wireless deployments class by presenting you with more challenging real-world deployments such as client mobility between subnets, high-client density deployments, and mesh-network deployments. This class allows the instructor and students to share experiences, pitfalls, and best practices around challenging deployment scenarios. The class is written at software code level 7.5.

Upon completing this class, you will be able to:
• Make network-design decisions
• Configure and troubleshoot WLANs for complex wireless LAN installations
• Mobility between subnets
• High-client density deployments
• Mesh-network deployments

Prerequisites:
The knowledge and skills that a student must have before attending this course are as follows:
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent in knowledge
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system

Who Should Attend:
The primary audience for this course is as follows:
• Channel Field Engineers
• Cisco Network Consulting Engineers
• New Unified Commutations Partners
• Customer Network Engineers
• Anyone interested in the Cisco Unified Wireless Network solution that have a strong data-networking background who will be responsible for the planning, deploying and managing advanced functions of an enterprise WLAN using lightweight access points with controllers
